The Madrasah Al-Kallāsah was located in the Middle District of the city of Damascus. It was the madrasah of Jubair al Hakim and his center of power. From here, he spread his idea of burning books and thus destroying knowledge.
In 1191, the Assassin Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad infiltrated the madrasah in order to assassinate Jubair.
