Machus was an informant of Apollodorus who lived during the reign of Ptolemy XIII.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In 48 BCE, Aya sent her husband Bayek to meet Machus outside the Lageion Hippodrome, as he had knowledge about Apollodorus's whereabouts. Machus advised Bayek to wait for the next night and that if Apollodorus saw fit to meet the Medjay, he would be waiting near the lighthouse of Kanopos. Machus also recommended Bayek to visit and participate in the chariot races in the hippodrome.[1]
