This article is about the generic mace in Egypt. You may be looking for the generic mace in France or maces in general.
Mace

The common mace used in Egypt during the 1st century BCE was simple in design, consisting of only a smooth, metal ball mounted atop a wooden pole with leather wrappings. Like typical maces of this period, it was not as long as a polearm but still long enough to necessitate two hands to wield effectively in combat.
