The Lion's Den

The Lion's Den was a cave in the Kynthos Hills on the island of Delos, Greece. Situated on the soutern tip of the island, it lied adjacent to the beach. As the name implies this small cave was inhabited by lions.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place.[1]
