Li Tong (born January 31, 1387) was a Chinese Assassin.

Biography

Born in the outskirts of Beijing, China, Li Tong was trained as an Assassin from a young age. Her parents were followers of the teacher Fang Xiaoru, the leader of the Chinese Assassins.

After Yongle, who was secretly a Templar, became Emperor of China, Yongle sent his army to round up thousands of suspected Assassins, among which were Li's parents, and had them executed. Li was able to escape Yongle's men with an Apple of Eden alongside an Assassin apprentice, who was sworn to protect Li. Li devoted herself to protecting the Apple and keep it out of Yongle's possession.

On August 12, 1424, while Yongle was trying to suppress an uprising near the Gobi Desert, Li slipped into the Emperor's tent and assassinated him.

Following these events, Li moved from Beijing to another location, though remaining a member of the Assassin Order.

Li had two children with Hui Zhang, named Zhi Mo and Ming Wong.
