The Amphikleia Military Camp was a military camp located on the slopes of Grand Mount Parnassos in Phokis, Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra infiltrated the camp, killing the captain and claiming the valuables within.[1]
Trivia
- The name of the camp alludes to the town of Amphicleia which was destroyed by the army of Xerxes I of Persia around 480 BCE.
