The Les Trois Pignons (English: The Three Pinenuts) was a cairn offering located in southern Melunois, West Francia.
History
In the late 880s, jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir traveled to the area and saw a cairn offering atop a cliff. Forward, she found a chest and opened it. However, it was a trap by the hunter Amric, who started to shoot crossbow bolts at her while he placed mines hidden in the grass. However, Eivor found the hunter, fought him, and ended his life.[1] Afterwards, she went to the display and built her own cairn offering at the cliff.[2]
