Lato (Ancient Greek: Λατώ) was an ancient city and polis in the Pephka region of the Greek island of Crete. Its patron goddess was Eileithyia.
The city was built around a double akropolis, with homes erected on its slopes. It also had a a small settlement which served as its port.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra came to the city.[1]
