The Lake House was an old house by a lake in Essexe, England.
History
In 875, the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir rescued an injured Alfida from the Brentwood Outpost and carried her to the Lake House. After Alfida had taken some rest, Eivor and Eluric came to check on her well-being. Eivor then let Alfida know of Birstan's desire to be with her once more. Elated, Alfida later lit a beacon outside the house to signal Birstan to come and meet her. Within a moment, Birstan met with Alfida, who gave one condition, which was that Eluric would live with them. Without a thought, Birstan agreed wholeheartedly as both he and Alfida rejoiced in each other's company.[1]
