The Kouros Workshop

The Kouros Workshop was a heavily guarded marble workshop in Naxos on the Greek island of the same name. Nearby it stood the Crane of Paxus.

During the Peloponnesian War, the workshop was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who eliminated the guards and claimed the valuables within.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The name of the place references the ancient Greek statues called kouroi, meaning 'youth, adolescent'.
