Kore was a Pephkan woman living in Lato with her husband Leiandros and their daughter Amara.
Biography
While Leiandros' enterprise around the myth of the Minotaur apparently flourished, Kore found her husband's antics distasteful. This distaste only grew as Leiandros seemed to show no concern whatsoever as their daughter Amara disappeared.[1]
Days later, Kore interrupted Leiandros' spiel to the Spartan misthios Kassandra, berating him and his antics before striding off in a huff to pray.[1]
Unbeknownst to Kore, the Cult of Kosmos had kidnapped Amara, and had threatened to kill her if Leiandros spoke of them even to his wife.[2] Despite this, Kore was aware that there were "people who (were) not known to be forgiving" in Pephka.[3]
Soon afterwards, Kassandra and Leiandros managed to free Amara from her cage in Zakros, and the family was reunited in Warrior's Rest, with Kore learning the truth. Making plans to leave Pephka,[3] Kore promised Kassandra she'd never forget what the misthios had done for them.[4]
