The Kolossus (pl. Kolossi) was a seemingly inert guardian statue, many of which were found all over Elysium.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found several of these statues. If they observed Kassandra do wrong, they activated and attacked her.[1]
Trivia
- Trespassing and assassinating an enemy near Kolossi does not trigger the activation. Destroying a Torch of Hypnos near an inert Kolossus damages them, but also doesn't trigger their activation.
- The name of the creatures is Greek for '(large) statue', and is the source for the English word colossal.
