Jörd's Blade was a seax decorated with glowing engravings which suggested that it had originally belonged to Thor's mother Jörð, the Norse goddess of earth.
During the Viking expansion into England, the short blade was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories in 2020.[1]

Behind the scenes
Jörd's Blade, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, shares the same model as the weapon Suttungr's Claw from the same game.
