Jonathan Davenport was a Boston-based Master Carpenter-Joiner who, around 1666, took a young Thom Kavanagh as his apprentice.
Jonathan quickly realised the natural skill Thom possessed, and when the time came for Thom to leave on his own journey five years later, Jonathan willingly provided good reference for him.
Trivia
- Jonathan's relation to either Achilles, or Matthew Davenport - if any exists - is unknown.
