Jean Dolbeau (12 March 1586 – 9 June 1652) was a Recollect friar who lived during the 17th century.
In 1614, Jean Dolbeau was one of the friars chosen by the explorer, Samuel de Champlain, to help with the religious life in the new French in Canada.[1]
