Jacques René Hébert (15 November 1757 – 24 March 1794) was a French journalist and the leader of the radical revolutionary group known as the Hébertists during the French Revolution.
After his death by guillotining, Hébert's head was retrieved by Arno Dorian, who passed it on to Marie Tussaud, a sculptor assigned to make masks of famous victims of the guillotine.
