Ischagoras Military Camp was a military camp in northern Chalkidike in Makedonia, Greece.
History
Around 429 BCE the camp was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who burned the supplies within and claimed the stationed soldiers' valuables. She also freed Ide, an elderly woman, who was held captive by the soldiers.[1]
Kassandra escorted the old lady to safety, and in return Ide suggested she deal with the influx of mercenaries who were "spoiling [her] view", and then join her for some wine in Amphipolis.[2]
