Investigation

Investigations are tasks that must be performed by Altair before an assassination can take place. They allow Altair to better plan his method of entrance and exit for the assassination.

After going to the Assassin's Bureau you will be able to investigate things. If you climb a view point then you can see where investigations take place nearby on your map, however it is not necessary to do this. A variable set amount of investigations must be completed before an assassination, the amount can be seen on the map, however more can be done to add to your knowledge of how to best perform the assassination.
