History
In 871, the Viking Geirmund Hel-hide and his guide, Brother John found themselves at Huntsman's Hill, where they met with more Danes under Sidroc the Elder. There, Geirmund expressed his predicament and his duty under Guthrum to Sidroc. Sidroc and his Sidroc the Younger proclaimed to both Geirmund and John that his company will be meeting Halfdan Ragnarsson and Guthrum tomorrow at Readingum. All agreed, despite John's desire to go to Lunden.[1]
