The Hunted Forest of Artemis was the northern region of the island of Chios, Greece.
Believed to be the home of the Daughters of Artemis, an all-female cult revering the Greek goddess Artemis, the forest was also said to be haunted. Despite this, the region was explored by the Spartan misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War.[1]
