The Hoplite Dory was a type of spear belonging to the arsenal of a typical Greek hoplite in the 5th century BCE Greece. Sharp and barbed, the allure of the weapon in war was easy to see.
The spear was made available to the Spartan misthios Kassandra through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories.[1]
