The Holborn Hall,[1] also known as the Grand Templar Hall [citation needed] or simply Templar Hall,[2] is a building in London where the Templars convene.
On 14 December 2016, hundreds of Templars gathered from around the world, including the Council of Elders itself, to observe Alan Rikkin's unveiling of an Apple of Eden with which they hoped to finally purge the world of the Assassins' creed. However, unbeknownst to all gathered, a small cell of Assassins led by Callum Lynch had infiltrated the meeting. Lynch killed Rikkin before the assembled crowd, reclaiming the Apple in the ensuing confusion and fleeing with his associates to the city rooftops as police arrived on the scene.[3]
Trivia
- The real-world stand-in for Grand Templar Hall was Freemasons' Hall, London. Within Assassin's Creed continuity, the Freemasons largely correspond with their real-world counterparts and are unaffiliated with either the Assassins or Templars.
