Herakles' Mace

Herakles' Mace was a legendary mace obtained by the misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War.

Allegedly used by the mighty hero Herakles, the mace was held in a chest in the Temple of Demeter and Kore in Arkadia during the 5th century BCE. Kassandra recovered the mace for herself when she visited the temple during the war.[1]
