The Helmet of Orpheus was a helmet inspired by and dedicated to the legendary musician Orpheus sold in ancient Greece during the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War, the helmet was widely sold by blacksmiths throughout the Greek world. The Spartan misthios Kassandra could obtain the helmet either by purchasing from blacksmiths or looting it during her travels.[1]
