Helmet of Keres

The Helmet of Keres was a type of helmet dedicated to the Keres, a group of female death-spirits in Greek mythology. As such, it was said that death accompanied whoever wore the helmet.

During the Peloponnesian War, the helmet were sold by blacksmiths throughout the Greek world.[1]
