The Healing Sanctuary of Amphiaraos was a small temple located on a small hill in the Oropos Heights region of Boeotia, Greece.
Dedicated to the mythical King of Argos, the temple was used as a campsite by the Daughters of Artemis during the Peloponnesian War. Visitors of the temple were said to be treated through dreams and often tossed gold or silver coins in the sanctuary's spring after their illness was treated.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the site, claiming the valuables in the temple and freeing the Daughters' captive.[1]
