Healing Sanctuary of Amphiaraos

The Healing Sanctuary of Amphiaraos was a small temple located on a small hill in Boeotia, Greece. Dedicated to the mythical King of Argos, the temple was used as a campsite by the Daughters of Artemis during the Peloponnesian War.

Between 429 and 422 BCE, the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the site, eliminating the cult folowers and claiming a chest in the temple.[1]
