The Healer's Bracers

The Healer's Bracers were bracers which belonged to the Greek physician Hippokrates.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra helped Hippokrates recover his medical notes although not in the form he had expected as his notes had been burned during a raid in Fort Tiryns. Instead, she brought back another physician named Dymas, who had memorized the contents of the notes. As a reward, Hippokrates gave the bracers to Kassandra.[1]
