Halima was one of the wives to a Persian harbor master before his death, alongside others like Roshan, Talâyi, and Nai.
Biography
Among the wives, Halima was considered one of the quiet ones[1] as well as the best in the matter of healing, with her teaching Roshan what she knew, as well as helping the other wives with the whip wounds from their husband's punishments.[2] In 819, after Roshan killed their husband, Halima became hysterical upon finding his corpse and had to be sedated by the other wives using sleeping tea.[1]
