The HMS Defiance was a frigate under the ownership of His Majesty's Royal Navy, and sailed in the Caribbean Sea during the early 18th century.[1]
The captain of the ship had killed a Dutch merchant, which prompted his friend, Milo van der Graaff to hire the Assassin and pirate Edward Kenway to sink the HMS Defiance ship with the Jackdaw.
