The Guardian (real name: Odai Dunqas) was an Animi Avatar used by Abstergo Industries to train their recruits in the second stage of the Animi Training Program. His main weapon was a lance.

Description

The Guardian was an estranged cousin of a distant Sultan in East Africa, who happened to be the first of the Sennar Sultanate. He also fervently believed in the Templar ideology: Peace through order and stability.

Driven from his home in 1505 by his own family and ending up in Alexandria, the Guardian encountered the teachings of Templar philosophy. Enamoured by their beliefs, he then called himself the "Guardian of Truth", acting as a defender of the Templar's ideals.

Unique Moves

The Guardian had several unique moves:

(Low Profile, Front)

The Guardian approaches his target and quickly pulls out his lance and stabs it into their abdomen. He then cruelly pulls the spear upwards, further opening the newly-inflicted wound and causing more blood loss. The Guardian then removes his spear as he watches his target fall to the floor.

(Low Profile, Back)

The Guardian approaches his victim from behind and pulls out his lance. He slashed the target across the spine to the left, followed up by a second slash to the right. He then brutally forces the spear head through his target's back, withdrawing the lance as his target collapses to their knees, dying slowly.

(High Profile, Front)

The Guardian runs up to his target and stabs his lance into their chest. The target grabs the spear shaft as the Guardian pushes the spear, causing them to rotate. The Guardian spins with them, pulling the spear from the target and using the momentum from his spin to sadistically slash them across the abdomen, causing them to spin to their death.

(High Profile, Back)

The Guardian runs towards his target from behind with his lance in hand, impaling his target in their spine. As his victim recoils he withdraws his spear and leaps into the air, slashing the target's spine at their neck, causing them to die of blood loss.

(Bench Kill)

The Guardian grabs his seated target's foot and drags them off the bench, until their head rests against it. Before his victim can do anything to defend themselves, the Guardian forcefully kicks them in the face, violently sending their head backwards and breaking his target's neck on the bench behind them.

(Aerial Kill)

The Guardian leaps from above, landing on top of his target, before taking out his lance from his back. Using the momentum of his fall, he forces his lance into his victim's chest. Standing up, he removes his lance from his target's dead body before storing it back at his back.
