Description

While celebrating the Assassin's victory over Vieri de' Pazzi, Mario Auditore eventually shows Ezio Auditore the Codex Wall and tells him that it is a journal written by a legendary assassin named Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, and that the Codex symbolizes the ways of their creed. He explains that his brother attempted to obtain the pages, but with no success availing. Ezio, feeling like he needs to complete his father's work, decides to search for them during his quest for revenge. Ezio then goes to the only view point in Monteriggioni and synchronizes the map. He then finds three codex pages in the town's walls and one out in the country side. Before showing his success to Mario he meets up with his sister where she complains that she now has to deal with the Villa Auditore's banking system and explains the renovation system to Ezio, she mentioned that the more he invests in Monteriggioni, the greater his income shall be. He then meets up with Monteriggioni's architect where he explains how to renovate and his contributions will bring back Monteriggioni back to it's former glory. Ezio finally goes back to Mario where he hangs the four new Codex pages he just found on the Codex Wall and is taken by Mario to the secret Sanctuary. While there Mario explains to Ezio that the sanctuary contains a a very powerful set of armor that can only be unlocked by going to six secret Assassin's Tombs and obtaining six Assassin's Seals to unlock the gate mechanism.
