Glen Ford Camp was a Mercian military camp in western Ledecestrescire, England.
History[edit | edit source]
In the 870s, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir joined Ravensthorpe's baker and former bandit Tarben to recover stolen goods from his former bandit leader Wilf in order to retrieve the ledger of his past deeds. However, Eivor retrieved the wares alone while also recovering a carbon ingot from a nearby chest. After recovering Wilf's good, she and Tarben left the camp and rode to meet with Wilf again.[1]
