Gitiadas was a Spartan sculptor who lived during the 7th century BCE.

At the acropolis of Sparta, Gitiadas worked on the Temple of Athena Chalkioikos, said to have began construction during the reign of King Tyndareus. Later on, he added in bronze decorations of various events in Greek mythology and a bronze statue of Athena in the temple.[1]
