George Dorrance (7 March 1737 – 3 July 1778) was an officer of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. A member of the Templar Order, Dorrance was responsible for the displacement of several Iroquois villages.
Dorrance participated in the Battle of Wyoming in 1778, fighting against the joint forces of the British Army and the Iroquois, but was assassinated by Assassins sent by Ratonhnhaké:ton.

- Historically, Dorrance was beheaded by the natives after having been captured.
