Gaspar de la Croix (1466 - 1503) was a master engineer, marksman and a member of the Templar Order. He was frequently used by Cesare Borgia to take down easy targets on the battlefield at the start of a battle.[1] In 1503, he was visited by Fiora Cavazza, who came by Cesare's behalf to pick up one of the latter's orders.[2] Some time later the same year, he was attempting to shoot a man, who hid behind a stone archway. Ezio Auditore da Firenze, an Assassin, walked up to the man, who explained the situation to him. As the man tried to run towards Gaspar, he was quickly shot by the skilled marksman. As a result, Ezio went after Gaspar, who rapidly decided to flee. Gaspar reached a dead end, however, and was stabbed by Ezio's hidden blade, causing Gaspar to die.[1]
