Gaspar Velasquez was a Spanish shipbuilder associated with the Assassin Order.
In the 18th century, Velasquez and his colleagues began working on a brig for the fleet of the Colonial Brotherhood. However, due to the increasing influence of the British Templars, they were unable to construct the ship in Spain.
They sent the preliminary project to the Assassin Council in France, and the brig, known as the Aquila, was constructed in 1749 in Brest.
