The Fyrd Axe was a battleaxe used by farmers and woodsmen in England during the 9th century.
During her travels, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan acquired this bearded axe at Forseti's Rest, Jorvik.[1]
