Fuse bomb casings were a component that was used in the crafting of bombs by Ottoman Assassins, which, with their metal shell, rebounded off surfaces and detonated after 3 seconds. Because of this, they could be aimed around corners, by bouncing them off of a wall or other surface.
In terms of bomb-crafting, fuse casings could be used in conjunction with any gunpowder type or ingredient.
