Francis Marion (c. 1732 – 27 February 1795) was an officer in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War.
He lived in South Carolina and led a guerrilla unit in the colony after the Patriots had deserted it, becoming known as the "Swamp Fox." The Assassin Connor was concerned by Marion's methods and sent his recruits to stop him.
