A fossil is any preserved remains, impression, or trace of any once-living thing from a past geological age.[1]
History
1st Century BCE
Basilosaurus fossils could be found in the Faiyum, Saqqara Nome and the Sinai.[2]
The deserts of Egypt, specifically the Wadi El Hitan is evidence of the seas which once covered the area.[3]
9th Century
Fossils could be found around Norway, England and Vinland; in locations such as Stavanger and Kinder Downfall.[4]
19th Century
During his administrative career in India, William Sleeman found several dinosaur fossils in the Narmada Valley whilst searching for Isu artifacts on behalf of the Templar Order.[5]
Richard Owen, a zoologist known for his opposition to Darwinism, coined the term 'Dinosaur'.[6]
In 1868, Charles Darwin tasked Evie Frye and Jacob Frye with retrieving a fossil from Dr. Schwartz at Charing Cross station. Dr. Schwartz was revealed to be an imposter intent on killing Darwin, and was subsequently killed by the Assassins. The Frye Twins recovered the fossil and returned it to Darwin.[7]
21st Century
In 1997, Abstergo Industries buried fake skeletons near Tim White's expedition in Ethiopia to throw off the scientific community from discovering the truth of humanities origins.[8]
Álvaro Gramática proposed in a public relations primer for a coordination of pre-existing disinformation campaigns to ensure that interest in precursor and hyper-hominid fossils was misdirected into harmless avenues.[9]
