The Formidable was one of seven legendary ships and a flagship of the French Navy.

The Formidable participated in the Battle of Quiberon Bay, but was sunk by the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac in the North Atlantic during the Seven Years' War.

Trivia

Historically the Formidable was captured by the Royal Navy and was dismantled in 1768 and not sunk during the Battle of Quiberon Bay.
