Far From the Tree is a memory in the Battle of Forlì DLC pack for Assassin's Creed II.
Description
After Ezio was stabbed by Checco Orsi, the Apple was stolen from him by a mysterious monk with a missing finger. He then traveled to an abbey in the wetlands to see if he could find out who had stolen the Piece of Eden. At the abbey, he saved Darby O’Callahan, who told Ezio that he should travel to the Abbazia di San Mercuriale. Upon his arrival there, the monks fled from him when one of them exclaimed that Ezio was a monk-killer, due to his assassination of the Pazzi conspirator Stefano da Bagnone. Ezio captured one of the fleeing monks, who then revealed to him who the mysterious monk was.
Outcome
Ezio learns that the monk who stole the Apple was Girolamo Savonarola, the man who would later become the leader of Florence.
