Ezio, my friend! How may I be of service?

This article is in desperate need of a revamp. Please improve it in any way necessary in order for it to achieve a higher standard of quality in accordance with our Manual of Style.

Alan Rikkin is the current Chief Executive Officer of Abstergo Industries and a member of the Templar Order.

History

Animus Project

"I'm about ready to pull the plug on your Subject 17. So either get me results or get another person into that Animus."
―Rikkin giving orders to Warren Vidic.[src]

Although he did not interact personally with the subjects in the Animus project, Rikkin was a key member of the team responsible for reviewing the Animus session recordings as part of Abstergo's efforts to find Pieces of Eden.

He regularly communicated with Warren Vidic, who supervised the Animus sessions, through emails. In one instance, Rikkin sent Vidic the information that he and his team had gathered and asked him for feedback. Other such emails to Warren mentioned the launch of the Abstergo satellite and the handling of security issues.

As Chief Executive Officer, Rikkin was able to decide whether a particular subject had to remain in the Animus, or needed to be replaced. He was also active in Abstergo's current relations with external, political, and regulatory organizations.

Leila Marino

"You told me she wasn't going to be a problem and here she is stirring up the shit again."
―Rikkin to Warren in an e-mail.[src]

Lucy Stillman once emailed Rikkin requesting information on a deceased friend and ex-employee, Leila Marino. The only response she received was an out-of-office notice, despite the fact that Alan continued to manage his other emails during the time he was supposedly away. This message including a warning to Warren to keep Lucy from asking difficult questions.
