The Elixir Knife was a dagger owned by a Mytilenian scholar during the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War, the dagger ended up in the hands of the Spartan misthios Kassandra after she helped the scholar gather ingredients for her anti-petrification potion, and discovered the truth.[1]
