Dystos Fort was a military fort on a hill within the Forgotten Ruins of Makris region in Euboea, Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War the fort was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who eliminated the soldiers, freed the captives and looted the valuables within.[1]
Dystos Fort was also the place where corrupt soldiers working with The Dagger, a bandit group plaguing the Abantis Islands, had taken Rhoeo's husband, the farmer, when he didn't pay their 'taxes'. Rhoeo asked Kassandra to save her husband, and Kassandra agreed.[2]
