The Akropolis Treasury

The Akropolis Treasury was treasury in Korinthia, Greece. Part of the city of Korinth, this building stood next to the temple of Apollo. It was used to store money owned by the Akropolis and was guarded by military personnel.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, killed the captain, burned their war supplies, and claimed their treasures.[1]
