The dagger paired with the Spear of Leonidas

The Dionysos' Tears was an amethyst-bladed dagger that was inspired by the Greek god of wine Dionysos and his cult. Finely made of metal, the handle of the dagger bore tear-shaped pieces of the violet gemstone.

During the Peloponnesian War, the dagger was made available to the Spartan misthios Kassandra through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories.[1]
