The Diary of Orphedice was a diary written by a woman named Orphedice in Aletheia's simulation of the Underworld. Its pages were later scattered throughout the region and were recovered by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.

Entries

Diary of Orphedice - Entry nº 1

Location: On the Passage of Souls coming from the Realm Portal. Kassandra found the entry between pottery remains.

Those double-crossing malákes! I should've known they would play me. We were supposed to share the profits, but what do they do? They get rid of me! I heard they were spotted crossing a rocky bridge—I'll start there. They'll learn what it means to mess with Orphedice. No one. Messes. With. Me.

Diary of Orphedice - Entry nº 2

Location: Near the northern stone bridge that cross the Styx, connecting the Chasm of Torment and The Scorched Lands. Kassandra found the entry on a small pier on the north part of the stone bridge, near a pile of skulls.

I saw Agda trying to negotiate passage with the ferryman earlier, so now her body floats in the Styx. One down, four to go. No one's safe from my wrath. I'll lift them if I have to! They'll pay for this Eurypheus business.

Diary of Orphedice - Entry nº 3

Location: On the southern peninsula of the Chasm of Torment. Kassandra found the entry on a camp, near a dead body.

Four down, only one to go: Ambrogio. I took my time getting here—I wanted to savor their pain. One malákes begged for mercy and said Ambrogios went exploring a tomb nearby. I was merciful... but my blade wasn't.

Diary of Orphedice - Entry nº 4

Location: Inside the Restless Nekropolis. After following the natural path of the nekropolis, Kassandra found the entry on small corridor at the left of the last Treasure chest.

Ambrogios was strong. He learned new tricks before getting down here. I can't stop the bleeding. I know this is it. I was going to live a good life with that oaf Eurypheus' drachmae. If only I had killed him myself instead of Ambrogio and his thugs to make his death more convincing. I could've been in Argolis, drinking wine for eternity...

Behind the scenes

The Diary of Orphedice, a journal in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey's DLC The Fate of Atlantis: Torment of Hades, seems to be loosely based on the legend of Orpheus and his wife Eurydice. The author's name is also a portmanteau of their names.

The diary is directly connected to entries in the Diary of Eurypheus from Torment of Hades' prequel, The Fate of Atlantis: Fields of Elysium.

The player can find the corpse of Orphedice next the to the fourth entry.
