Demosthenes' Greaves were greaves which belonged to the Athenian general Demosthenes, as part of his own set of armor.
During the Peloponnesian War, Demosthenes gave the greaves to the Spartan misthios Kassandra as a reward for helping him eliminate three Spartan polemarchoi, and collecting the seals they carried as proof.[1]
